Valencia CF and Fundació VCF to rebuild the football field at Sedaví municipal Sports Complex
José Francisco Cabanes, Mayor of Sedaví: “We will never forget this act of solidarity to help us rebuild our town”
Valencia CF's first win of the 2020/21 season accompanied their first comeback of the campaign, as the team rallied from going behind on two occasions against Levante UD. It was also the first time that they had recovered from a deficit to win a game in 2020.
Twice they conceded goals to the local rivals, and twice it was José Luis Morales who scored for Levante. However, defender Gabriel Paulista and striker Maxi Gómez both opened their account for the season to equalise and cancel out the respective strikes. Following on from that, a brace from Manu Vallejo handed VCF a 4-2 triumph.
The most recent turnaround for Valencia CF that ended in victory was back on December 7th, 2019, curiously enough against Levante. A 2-4 away win at the Ciutat de Valencià came just before they travelled to Amsterdam to play Ajax in the Champions League.
The quartet of goals this past Sunday also marked the first time Valencia CF had scored four in a single game since October 21st, 2017, against Sevilla FC.
